Daniel Schnyder has been nominated for Deutscher Musikautorenpreis 2011.

DS was comissioned to write a new work for the Artemis String Quartet.

Schnyders Faust CD was nominated for the 2011 International Classical Music Awards.

Daniel writes a new tenor trombone concerto for star soloist Joe Alessi, 2011 with Nashville Symphony, and a clarinet concert for Eddie Daniels.

Daniel was commissioned to write "FOUR WINDS" (UE) for solo violin by the Rostal Violin Competition 2009.
